This reverse fixture was played at An Screaban and Gweedore had a comfortable enough victory. The home side opened the scoring after ten minutes through Damian Sullivan. The keeper blocked his first attempt but he blasted the rebound into the net. Fionnan Diver increased the lead on thirty minutes when he headed homefrom a
corner. A minute later, good interplay
between Tommy Diver and Gary Whoriskey ended with the latter running in to register the third goal. To their credit Lagan Harps did create a number of chances but they didn't really trouble the Gweedore keeper.
Eight minutes into the second half a shot from Eamon Cannon from thirty yards ended in the corner of the net. The scoring was completed ten minutes from time when Fionnan Diver slotted home from close range following good work from Tommy Diver.

It was a wet and windy day for the local derby at the Scrabain Gweedore. The game started with Utd having most of the posscession with Gaa all star Kevin Cassidy and Ronan Mc Neillis having the upper hand in midfield. With both teams having three valuable cup points and local pride at stake it was all to play for. On the twenty minute mark, Celtic gave away a needles free kick 25 yrds out which resulted in Matthew Burns floating in a high ball which hit the back of the net.
However this was not going to to dampen celtics spirits. As they settled into the game Willie beag Mc Bride and Cathal Campbell took over midfield and the rest of the game changed in Celtics favour. The impressive James Carroll ran on to a Mc Bride pass in the 40th minute. It resulted in the Utd defence giving away a very costly corner taken by Carroll and sweetly met by big Dan Mc Bride he hammered it in to Utds net which Keller had no hope in stopping.
It was all to play for in the second half and was all one way traffic for Gweedore Celtic. In the 68th minute John Sweeney was denied a second goal by the post and frantic defending. Celtic had further chances from Eamonn Duggan, James Carroll and the lively Sweeney. Utd had no answers for a strong Celtic team who were unlucky not to take the three points. The game ended 1 - 1.
